Earlier this year, Chuck Harvey gave a lecture on campus about life and work as an animator at Disney and Warner Studios. Well, the series continued this afternoon with Rusty Mills giving a great talk about his work directing over 100 episodes of Animaniacs and 65 episodes of Pinky and the Brain. He also talked about the animation process from inception to final product, as well as the move from hand-drawn cell animations to a fully digital workflow in respect to 2D animation. I’m sure glad I’m on the computer side of the issue on this one :)
But much to my disappointment, no steak dinner followed :(
